Psychiatry/Mental Health-NP - Established Group Practice which operates several outpatient behavioral healthcare and addiction medicine facilities in New England is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner with addictions experience to join an Office-Based Addictions Treatment (OBAT) team.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive, cost-effective health care to patients, which includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management according to the standards of advanced nursing practice.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner reviews intake assessments with the team and establishes an appropriate plan of care for the patient. Revises the patient plan of care with the OBAT treatment team, as needed, to address patient needs and issues. The Nurse Practitioner should have familiarity with multicultural groups, previous work experience in a multicultural setting, and a willingness to remain current in the field of focus.
Part to full-time (start at 20 hours per week for 60 – 90 days, then 40 hours per week if desired). Must have Behavioral Health and SUD experience. Buprenorphine waiver and a desire to assist the underserved are required.
