As a technologist, your role is to solve business growth problems. We believe every engineer is a product-engineer! From building real-time streaming for efficient video commerce to building a payment stack scaling with 20+ countries, you will impact the business from Demand, Supply to Operations!Technology stack : Fleek is built with a modern native stack with Javascript as its backbone and React, React Native as the frameworks for app development. We have two buyer and supplier facing apps on App Store and Play Store, and a website that currently runs on Shopify (to be soon deprecated). We employ AWS as our cloud provider and use technologies in OpenSearch, DataFlow, Lambda, and Video streaming.How we work : We move fast because there are small business owners who count on us. We have a duty to ship solutions for them. We are remote-first, with team members in Asia, Europe, and the US. There are team-specific meetings where we need time to overlap; the rest is flexible.Requirements : We are looking for a Frontend Ninja who has 5+ years of experience building websites. If you are fullstack, it is a huge plus. In your role you will be:Responsible for architecting, developing & launching our brand new website from scratch.Implementing a smooth flow for customers from Onboarding to Checkout collaborating closely with an in-house product designer.Implementing a native P2P video experience for the video shopping experience.Ability to communicate, guide and lead small software teams in terms of best practices in technology.In this role, you will determine your own scope.
