is seeking BE/BC Hospitalist to join a talented team. The Hospital Medicine Admitting physician is responsible for the care of all patients admitted to the hospital service during one of three shifts (including overnight). This includes assessing patients, ordering, and interpreting diagnostic tests, managing medications, and providing patient education. This position will also work closely with the day team to ensure a smooth transition of care.Responsibilities:
Assess patients admitted to the hospital overnight through the emergency departmentOrder and interpret diagnostic testsManage medicationsProvide patient educationWork closely with the day team to ensure a smooth transition of careAttend rounds and conferencesComplete all required documentationParticipate in quality improvement initiativesMaintain licensure and board certificationAbility to work nights and weekendsShifts:
Two 12-hour shifts physicians can work: 5pm-5am or 8pm-8amFlexible scheduling and required to work fifteen (15) twelve (12) hour shifts per month; scheduled out 3 months in advanceCompensation & Benefits:
