We are looking for an exceptional Site Reliability Engineer who is passionate about building and maintaining reliable, high-performance systems that enable our cutting-edge Edge computing platform. As a Site Reliability Engineer at Wasmer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our systems run smoothly and have the capacity for future growth. This is a critical role that will have a direct impact on the success of our platform and the satisfaction of our customers.What You Will Do
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions for our Edge computing platformCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure efficient deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of our applications and servicesDevelop and implement automation tools and processes to improve system reliability and performanceDevelop and manage our metal-servers infrastructureEstablish and enforce best practices for infrastructure management, security, and disaster recoveryProactively identify and mitigate potential risks and performance bottlenecksCreate and maintain detailed documentation for the systems and processes under your responsibilityParticipate in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure 24/7 availability of our platformWhat You Need
2+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or related rolesExperience with Linux server administrationProven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Java, or similar)Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.)Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skillsBonus Points
Experience with Edge computing platforms and related technologies (Rust or Wasm)Familiarity with Serverless architectures and Lambda functionsKnowledge of networking, security, and distributed systems conceptsFamiliarity with CI/CD processes and toolsWhy Join Us?
