Seeking a Full Time BC/BE Psychiatrist
for an inpatient staff Psychiatrist position in Southwest Virginia.
This unit provides a pivotal service to the community. The psychiatrist for this position will have a wide range of experience with inpatient psychiatric issues and should be comfortable with high acuity patients.
Responsibilities:
Weekdays: Monday - Friday 8 Hours1:6 Call1 Weekend per month of onsite roundingDaily rounds by the Psychiatry team including 1 Psychiatrist and 1 Psychiatric Nurse PractitionerDaily therapeutic services led by licensed therapists and counselors including: Individual & Group psychotherapyOn-site case management and utilization reviewRecreational activitiesPharmacologyFamily therapyEducational servicesBenefits:
