Those who join our team are expected to author engineering design proposals based on product management specifications, add connectivity with Alarm.com’s backend services, develop robust, accessible, and localized user interfaces alongside other client-side logic, and provide ongoing technical guidance. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient and will exhibit a high degree of initiative in learning new technologies and methods to resolve challenges encountered during the project life cycle.Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field or equivalent work experience5+ years of relevant professional software development experience (Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, iOS SDK, API design)Strong object-oriented programming skills with experience writing code for a multi-threaded environmentStrong advocate for Unit and UI testing using a variety of industry-standard technologiesAbility to manage time effectively and efficientlyAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiencesOther duties as assignedNICE TO HAVE
