The Department of Urology at the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama has openings for Urology faculty. Duties include patient care and teaching medical students and residents. Candidates should have completed training in an ACGME accredited residency in Urology. The successful candidate will interact with an interdisciplinary team of nurses, dieticians, psychologists, and other professionals dealing with a broad range of urological disorders. Duties involve attending to patients, teaching residents and medical students. In addition, the incumbent will be expected to engage in service activities and have the opportunity to engage in clinical and basic science research if desired.Academic rank is open and will be commensurate with training, experience, and academic productivity.
