You’ll join a small-yet-mighty team of 11 as an experienced search engineer and own significant parts of the search infrastructure and ranking stack. This will involve:Architecting a search ranking infrastructure for scalability, speed, reliabilityEstablishing engineering best practices for machine learning experimentation for improving search relevanceWorking with large-scale unsupervised and supervised datasets to develop breakthrough ML-powered featuresLearning new technologies and frameworks to maintain and improve a blazing fast shipping velocityBeing an experienced voice in defining engineering direction, culture, and roadmapBeing hungry for responsibility, growth, and impactYou qualify if you have:
3+ years using information retrieval technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, Lucene3+ years of experience using Python, Numpy, PytorchExperience writing automated testsExperience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GraphQL a plusFamiliarity with SQL and database abstractionsAbility to quickly learn new frameworks/technologies and move across the stack when necessaryWe’ll love you if you have:
