As a
Data Engineer at Resonate , you'll be an integral member of our Engineering team with a unique opportunity to explore and
transition into machine learning technologies . You'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing data ingestion pipelines while beginning to implement scalable machine learning pipelines that transform our business insights. This role is perfect for seasoned data engineers passionate about leveraging their expertise in large scale, distributed data systems and eager to grow into the machine learning space.Key ResponsibilitiesData Engineering Focus:Design, plan, and develop robust data ingestion and processing pipelines.Oversee production, quality assurance, quality control, testing, and maintenance of data systems.Collaborate with technical product management and data engineers to deliver on product requests.Machine Learning Development:Begin to design and implement ML feature pipelines for model training and scoring under the guidance of our ML team.Monitor and enhance the quality of machine learning solutions by adopting rigorous process controls and advanced tooling.Analyze large and complex data sets to derive insights that inform feature and product development.Qualifications & Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or data engineering, with a keen interest in moving towards machine learning.Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Scala, Hadoop, and cloud services (preferably AWS).Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and cloud-based ML frameworks such as Amazon SageMaker is a plus.Strong foundational knowledge in Python, Docker, and CI/CD practices.Strong foundational knowledge in software design patterns and scalable system design.Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to debug and optimize big data applications.Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.A strong desire to learn and apply machine learning techniques in a practical, business-oriented setting.BenefitsBesides the opportunity to work with smart, fun, hard-working Resonate employees, you will have uncapped growth potential, a work/life balance, and a competitive suite of benefits.LocationAt Resonate, we're proud to offer a flexible work environment that combines the best of both worlds.
