Identified as one of the top 10 ENR Contractors, the organisation is seeking to strengthen their senior leadership with whom will be responsible for a project portfolio with Caltrans ranging between $50-250m and will be a recognised leader with 10-20 years of experience in the industry.The organisation has an excellent employee programme designed to maximise the ability of everyone within their workforce, with unrivalled opportunities for career progression in a challenging environment.THE ROLE* Overall responsibility for the delivery of multiple projects encompassing bridges, roads and wider heavy civils transportation work.* Implement Zero Accident Philosophy, and other Environmental, Safety and Health methods to ensure everyone on the jobsite goes home safely every day and stakeholders’ considerations are met.* Ensure that the highway project teams and subcontractors comply with policies and procedures at all times.* Key experience dealing with Caltrans in the past will be highly desirable.* Provides full support to enable suitable and sufficient engineering deliverables to be prepared, reviewed and issued in a timely manner.* Maintain a record of all documentation relating to the delivery of the project at a site level and communicate to Executive Leadership.KEY EXPERIENCE* 10-20 years of relevant experience in Management in Transportation/Infrastructure, ideally working in the heavy highways sector.* Relevant experience and proven skillset of mobilising heavy highways work acting as the face of the tier 1 contractor when dealing with Caltrans.* Comprehensive understanding of environmental, safety and health regulations and their implementation.* Ability to fluently communicate at all levels.* Engineering/Civil Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline would be desirable but not essential.* Membership of an appropriate Professional Institution.Interested in this role?
