We are looking for an experienced Associate Product Manager to participate in the creation of new products and features, from the idea stage to launch.To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in end-to-end project management. Your main responsibilities include gathering product requirements, prioritizing feature implementations and improving overall user experience. Our ideal candidates should combine technical background with a Business Administration or Marketing degree.Ultimately, you’ll work with internal and external teams to build products that fill gaps in to better the end-to-end customer experience.Responsibilities

Propose and drive product enhancements to improve internal / external user experienceDo market research of new software releases within the travel or operational spaceConduct research to identify customer needs and process gapsProduce wireframes and flow diagrams to describe user/system interactions.Create feature briefs and customer journeys for custom software developmentLiaise with the development partners to create project timelines, budgets, release plans, and change requestsCreate (and perform) quality assurance controls on productsCoordinate with the internal architecture and data teams to deliver functional solutionsPrioritize the implementation of new features and set specific timelinesMonitor and report on users’ reactions after launchingCreate support and training documents for internal and external usersParticipate in system configuration and data mapping effortsFacilitate and document the discovery and design phases of new product development.Work with internal stakeholders/customers to interpret business requirements and produce functional specifications.Requirements and skills

Previous work experience as a Junior Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar roleExperience managing the entire product lifecycle, including QA and user testingFamiliarity with market research, conducting user behavior research and interviewsHands-on experience with web technologiesKnowledge of project management tools, like Jira or AsanaStrong time management skillsGood communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teamsAbout the Department:

$80,000.00 - $100,000.00Our office roles are onsite in our Berkeley headquarters, unless specifically noted as 'available for remote'. We do allow one work-from-home day a week, as well as one work-from-anywhere week per year. This pay range is intended for in-person work in our Berkeley, CA headquarters. Pay ranges for remote-eligible roles will be subject to adjustment based on the geolocation of the employee.
