Network Planner
to be part of the Eurovision Services (ES) Global Operations & Engineering team.WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES WAITING FOR YOU?The ES Global Operations & Engineering department is the central point of contact for all customers receiving operational services from Eurovision Services, coordinating the management of requirements and delivery for all events, transmission and media services between broadcasters, sport federations and event organisers.As a Network Planner you will play a key role in the management of ES clients, being the principal point of contact for clients booking services from ES.In this role you will:Be the first point of contact for clients and partnersEnsure continuity of services and coordination of all standard broadcast solutions within sports, news and other types of eventsEnsure the service delivery is focused on an outstanding customer experienceWork in close collaboration across internal teams, including technical staff, global master control facilities, and a team of booking managersOversee the management of resources on the Eurovision Global Network and allocate resources accordinglyDevelop a comprehensive understanding of client requirements, methodologies, and workflowsYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Successful candidates need to have:Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar degree (Master or Bachelor)Some years of experience in customer servicesRelevant experience in the field of broadcasting or telecom operationsKnowledge and understanding of broadcasting and telecom technology (basic concepts)Excellent customer service approach and attitude (e.g. empathetic, adaptable, patient)Excellent communication skillsExcellent team player and positive attitudeExperience working in multicultural environmentsADDED VALUE:Knowledge of transmission technologies (satellite and fiber) basic conceptsSome years of experience working on broadcast sport and news eventsWork experience in the field of engineering, IT or other technical aspects of broadcastingIdeally have experience previously working in an operational rolePractical project management experienceONCE ON BOARD YOU WILL:Be part of an outstanding multicultural and international teamBe involved in Tier-1 sports projects with impact and visibilityBENEFITS AND PERKS:Salary and benefitsWorking days of vacation, increasing to six (6) weeksFlexible 40-hour work weekDental and Vision coverageAccount, including an annual contribution of $1,000 for individuals, or $2,000 for families(8) days a year for sick leaveWith company contributions of up to 6% by year 4ParkingPOSITION LOCATION:The position is based at 2000 M Street, NW, Washington, DC 20036ABOUT EUROVISION AMERICAS INC.Eurovision Americas Inc.
