In this role, you will build, manage and monitor the infrastructure which powers the Accredible SaaS platform and provide consistency, stability, security and responsiveness for our services.If you are a self-starter, are performance-driven, and value an exceptional work culture, please come join Accredible.This role is responsible for:Helping guide the direction and delivery of both greenfield projects as well as the overhauling of our older services from manual infrastructure to fully automated IaC and CI/CD.Taking an active role in infrastructure architecting, deployment strategy design, and implementation end-to-end (from Terraform to GitHub Actions Pipelines to custom Lambdas and so on), collaborating closely with our talented developers.Championing DevOps as a culture and utilizing your skills to propagate best practices throughout the teams.Finding opportunities for improvement and directly impacting how and when we address these.Performing incident response and production support activities.Being a strong technical troubleshooter and learning from mistakes to improve the stability and reliability of our platform.Communicating and collaborating effectively across teams and competencies.Creating thorough and clear documentation and having a ‘big picture’, process-oriented mindset to ensure we minimize single points of failure and can operate asynchronously as a remote team.Technical competencies:Experience working with Linux-based infrastructure.Fluency in Infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform.Deployment and provisioning experience using Public Cloud providers such as AWS.Understanding of and experience with virtualization and images, namely Docker.Experience setting up and managing CI/CD for projects using tools like Github Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.Configured and automated monitoring and alerting with tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, Scout APM, LogDNA, Grafana, or similar.Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Golang, etc.Ability to automate and streamline processes using the best tool for the job.Team spirit and ability to work in a cross-functional team.Maintaining proactive and open communications.Attention to detail.Cultural competencies:Results Oriented.Proactive.Dependable.Prioritizer.Bias to Action.Humble in feedback and debate.Supportive.Ambitious.Builder.Great Communicator.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary, 35 days annual vacation, pre-IPO equity shares, generous sick time and compassionate leave, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), paid long term disability (LTD), flexible hours & remote work, and a commitment to personal and professional growth.About Us:Accredible’s solutions enable world-class educational institutions and professional certification providers to issue digital, verifiable credentials, awards, badges, and certificates.
