Global Protect Cloud Service (GPCS) is Palo Alto Networks' cloud service of next generation security. It uses cutting edge public and private cloud technologies extending the next generation security protection to all cloud services, customers on-premise remote networks and mobile users.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in software design and implement Global Protect Cloud Service features.

Work with QA team to provide high quality feature deliveries and releases.

Collaborate with DevOps and Technical Support team to troubleshoot customer issues.

Work with other software development teams to apply PanOS features on GPCS.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High energy and can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Team-oriented spirit, enjoys working with various teams.

Fast learner, eager to absorb new emerging technologies.

Solid programming skills in Python and C; JavaScript is a plus.

Cloud experience or knowledge, such as AWS, Azure, GCE, Kubernetes is a plus.

Virtualization experience or knowledge, such as ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V is a plus.

Networking and Routing experience or knowledge is a plus.

Firewall, IPSec, SSL, VPN experience or knowledge is a plus.

SDN (Software Defined Network) experience or knowledge is a plus.

SQL or NoSQL database experience or knowledge is a plus.

M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
