is a senior executive responsible for leading DC Logistics Sales team and developing sales strategies to drive revenue growth. This team member will report directly to the CEO. The

VP of Sales

primary role is to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with DC Logistics overall business objectives. This strategy includes identifying target markets, developing pricing strategies, and creating sales tactics for promoting the company's products or services.The Vice President of Sales will primarily be focused on:Leading strategic direction for DC Logistics sales team.Understanding the LTL marketplace and ensuring the Company is positioned appropriately.Assisting other members of the Executive Team in creating, growing, and building a world-class, industry-leading organization.Developing and implementing an expert sales strategy and growth plan.Creating alignment, optimizing product sales, maximizing regional growth and performance, and ensuring customers are satisfied with Company offerings.Increasing sales volume, profitability, and market share to meet Company expectations.Ensuring that supply and sales efforts align appropriately.Training Sales Directors and helping them develop their areas.Directing Sales Directors' sales efforts to ensure sales goals are accomplished.Supporting Sales Directors as a technical resource for customers.Developing and implementing regional Sales Directors' marketing plans.Reviewing and approving sales contracts.Continually investigating and introducing process/customer improvement measures.Developing a sales force to promote company sales and execute sales strategy.Key Requirements for VP of SalesYou have a degree in Business Administration or a related field.Several years of sales and leadership experience.You have prior experience and a strong track record of success in a senior sales leadership role.You have successfully built, scaled, and led high-performing sales teams.You have strong experience in consultative sales and possess the ability to prospect and manage senior-level relationships.You are a team player that thrives in helping others succeed.You are a strategic thinker & problem solver with the ability to be hands-on.
