Overview
Join a team of product managers supporting the data needs of users with ready-to-use spatial and location-based data products and services. As a member of the Data and Location Services product management team, you will take an already successful line of data products (ArcGIS Data Appliance, ArcGIS StreetMap Premium, ArcGIS World Geocoder) to the next level.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Esri’s on-premises data products (ArcGIS Data Appliance, ArcGIS StreetMap Premium, ArcGIS World Geocoder)Engage with Esri’s global community of users to understand their needs for spatial and location-based dataDocument and maintain user personas, use cases, and detailed product requirements to help internal teams understand market needsCollaborate with Product Marketing on the go‐to‐market strategy, customer success stories, product positioning, key benefits, and target customersCoordinate with internal teams including business development, software development, and market research to maintain product vision, strategy, and roadmapDefine, track, and analyze key product usage, adoption, and performance metrics to provide strategic recommendationsRecommend third-party data and software relationships to support market and product needs and support the product business management team to establish agreementsSupport trade shows such as the Esri Partner Conference, Esri Developer Summit, and Esri User Conference
Requirements
5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or similar capacity with a strong focus on building market-driven productsProfessional experience with spatial and location-based data and its use casesExcellent verbal and written communication skills at the technical and senior executive levelAbility to break down complex problems into actionable stepsAbility to travel 10-20% of the time for strategic meetings, events and/or tradeshowsBachelor’s degree in a technical field, such as geography, computer science, or engineering

Experience with ArcGISExperience and certifications with the Pragmatic Marketing FrameworkMaster’s degree in business, marketing, geography, computer science, or engineering

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $104,000—$166,400 USD.
