Role OverviewLeads end-to-end solution design and technical strategy for implementation of prioritized product capabilities or features. As a fully engaged technical execution lead, the Solution Architect plans the architectural runway for a full solution. They define, communicate, and support a continuous delivery pipeline and foster a built-in-quality mindset for the entire solution.
Responsibilities
Creates a shared and aligned architectural vision and end-to-end design to meet the objectives.
Collaborates with impacted platforms to ensure an aligned solution approach.
Provides options to achieve iterative delivery across a reusable architectural framework.
Oversees the outcomes of architectural delivery and contributes to acceptance.
Aligns solutions to enterprise architecture strategies and objectives.
Participates in all planning and progress-related ceremonies for the solutions.
Develops a high-level architecture (HLA) and technical specifications.
Ensures scalability, reliability, and performance of the overall solution.
Addresses data protection, authentication, authorization, and compliance requirements.
CollaborationThis role works closely with:
Product Business Owner for feasibility of requested initiatives and capabilities.
Product Tech Driver and impacted technology teams to share HLA and technical specifications.
Tech product owners to develop technical enablers and supporting artifacts.
Architects from other portfolios/products or platforms to align on design for dependencies.
Developers to provide technical and solution guidance, and to verify features are implemented as designed.
Architecture Review Board to ensure adherence to organizational technical strategy.
Systems & Tools
Visio or BizzDesign for creation of design artifacts (HLA, HLSD).
JIRA for adding NFRs, feature refinement, and High-Level Designs.
Additional tools as needed.
