Software EngineerWhat does a successful Software Engineer do at Fiserv?
You will be building technologies and experiences that impact millions of people worldwide, from developer portals to APIs to crypto wallets. As part of this team, you will work closely with experienced frontend and backend engineers, designers, DevOps and CloudOps engineers, product managers, and program managers to understand what it takes to ship global products.What You Will Do
Perform requirement analysis by collaborating with business and IT stakeholders.Finalize the project scope for upcoming phases and sprints and conduct system design in relation to the finalized scope.Perform application coding to the agreed scope and system design, perform unit testing, and migrate tested application code to the test environment.Collaborate with quality assurance engineers for system testing, integration testing, and regression testing.Provide required support to business users for the user acceptance testing.Prepare the fully tested code base for production implementation.Collaborate with the deployment team for production implementation.Provide post-production support, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers.What You Will Need To Have
5+ years of experience in JavaScript, Node JS, React JS, MERN and Microservices.5+ years of experience with unit testing, Jest, and test libraries.2+ years of experience with Jenkins (or equivalent), GraphQL, and MongoDB (or equivalent).Experience with architecture styles and APIs (REST, RPC).Experience with modern UI design.Experience with Agile methodologies.Fiserv systems experience.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience.What Would Be Great To Have
Master’s degree.Salary Range
