Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

7 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, Rust).

5 years of experience with Bluetooth, low-level programming, and embedded systems development.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

7 years of experience in embedded development.

Experience in technology leadership, leading project teams and setting technical direction.

Experience with power management, ARM Cortex-Mx, and low-power SoCs.

Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), or Bluetooth protocol analyzers (e.g., Ellisys or Frontline).

Knowledge of Linux kernel, Android system, and embedded software system design.

As Senior Firmware Engineer you will work with early hardware prototypes, design next-generation features, and ship high-volume consumer hardware. You will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Additionally, you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop, debug, and integrate general embedded applications often interfacing with Bluetooth protocols/connectivity stack, sensors, and audio chip sets.

Collaborate with software vendors and cross-functional teams on complex system integration tasks to achieve efficient, cost-effective, and delightful product solutions.

Develop, enhance, debug and maintain bootloaders, operating systems, and device drivers.

Collaborate with Hardware teams on board bring-up, power management, and hardware debug.

Collaborate with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) to support diagnostics and operations.
