Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant
to join newborn hospitalist team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide inpatient pediatric care at 3 hospitals located in Northeastern North Carolina. Primary locations will be in Edenton NC, a beautiful waterfront community and nearby Ahoskie, NC. NNP and PNP-AC new graduates are encouraged to apply. Physician Assistants should have at least 2 years of NICU experience.
Highlights include:Employed positionHospital privilegesSupport and continuous competency training providedSchedule includes 10-24/7 unrestricted call per month, as well as 24-hours of on-site coverage to support continued competency per monthClinical responsibilities when providing coverage will include rounding and coordination of care from admission to discharge for all newborn patients and attendance at all at-risk deliveries and participation in the resuscitation, stabilization, and transfer of critically ill neonates as neededTransfer support provided by Medical CenterPALS, BLS, and NRP certifications are required
