In addition, its renewable geothermal plants use steam generated deep below the earth's surface to produce clean, renewable electricity.Job SummaryThis position is responsible for the implementation of major programs including: predictive maintenance program, water treatment program, transformer reliability program, incident investigation program, training program, and other similar major programs. Responsibilities include day-to-day management of the test and maintenance fleet services contractor(s), interpretation of test results, and recommendations to Calpine Management and Engineering of critical items being monitored. Coordinates and monitors scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Responsibilities also include aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. The programs managed by the Program Manager aim to provide consistent implementation throughout Calpine's Fleet, improving operational reliability and efficiency. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and ensures programs are consistently delivered and maintained.
