Position Summary:
Lead commercial counsel for a primary global business segment operating across industrial, aerospace and defense markets.Essential Functions:Lead, manage and coordinate all legal aspects of public and private acquisition/divestiture transactions, including negotiation, drafting and implementation of agreements and related work streams.Assist in antitrust analyses for potential acquisitions and engage with antitrust authorities.Participate in acquisition/divestiture training and provide instruction on commercial law.Serve as lead commercial counsel for sales and procurement agreements, contributing practical legal solutions.Provide commercial counsel for corporate transactions, including service agreements and supply chain initiatives.Collaborate with Legal Department and external counsel on litigation, intellectual property, and compliance matters.Participate in Legal Department strategy deployment and continuous improvement initiatives.Manage external counsel and third-party service providers.Represent Parker and uphold Legal Department culture and values.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.Five or more years of experience in acquisition and divestiture transactions.Ability to perform essential functions with skill and efficiency.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to address legal and business issues independently.Creative self-starter with innovative legal solutions.Collaborative team player.Location of Position:
