It’s these connections that make Quadient such an exceptional place to grow your career – and help our future-focused team lead the way.Position Title: Sr. Legal CounselLocation: RemoteExcellent opportunity to join our Legal team!Your Role In Our FutureDraft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts with suppliers and customers, including: SaaS contracts, software licenses, professional services agreements, nondisclosure agreements, data processing agreements, business associate agreements, partner agreements, and reseller agreements.Must leverage legal expertise and business expertise to provide practical business and legal advice to various business partners.Managing outside counsel relationships, including budgeting and staffing.Collaborating with other members of the Legal Department to develop and maintain templates, contracting policies, negotiation practices, and escalation procedures.Participate in transversal projects and initiatives supported by the Legal Department.Drive compliance in day-to-day business activities, including through the development and delivery of training on various legal matters.Travelling occasionally as required.Your profileMinimum of 6 years’ experience negotiating, drafting, and advising clients on technology-related commercial contracts, including software licenses and SaaS agreements.Experience with data security and privacy law, including data processing agreements and business associate agreements.Ability to work efficiently and meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to prioritize work and adjust to frequent workload fluctuations across multiple time zones.Commitment to promoting an ethical workplace culture and supporting compliance processes and programs.Ability to collaborate with peers and customers.Ability to set priorities and measurable objectives.Experience in an international business is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status).Knowledge gaps can be filled. Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, which may include (but are not limited to) geographic location and candidate experience and expertise.
