We need a candidate that can solve customer pain points from the frontend and is not afraid to talk to users. Our challenge to you is to [re]design and implement our frontend so the user needs virtually no product training and minimal clicks.You are creating the interface for users to design, test, and operate hundreds of satellites. You’ll be working within the engineering team that includes backend developers and collaborate daily in an Agile Scrum environment.Tech SkillsExperience writing reusable React components in TypescriptExperience with React frameworks like Next.js, Refine (or Blitz.js / RedwoodJS)Experience with using UI libraries like Ant Design, Chakra or BootstrapCapability to design work in Figma and collaborate amongst stakeholdersKnowledge of API concepts and the ability to fetch data with GraphQL and RESTUse of identity and access management via Auth0 or Okta and understanding of cloud security best practicesFamiliarity with Git and GitHub or similar framework for version controlExperience with AWS services such as ECS (Docker) and CloudWatchUnderstanding of CI/CD concepts and use of GitHub actions is preferred but not requiredExperience with test frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Chai, and/or JasmineSoft SkillsProduct ownership and eagerness to understand customer experience and measure usageA high standard for software maintainability, quality, resilience, and performanceStrong cross-functional communication between a backend team and product managerBackground QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience2+ years professional experience in frontend development.
