Strategic Account Manager, US Global Selling

We are seeking a strategic-minded candidate with a passion for entrepreneurship and a desire to make real impact for Amazon customers globally. Our mission is clear: help NA-based Amazon sellers expand their successful footprint globally through sales excellence and technical automation. This role offers the opportunity to innovate, drive ecommerce strategy, and elevate the total merchant, seller, and customer experience on a global scale.Success in this role requires the ability to deep dive into complex data and the ability to make high-quality judgments with limited information. The ability to earn trust and influence across global internal and external stakeholders including sellers and service providers is crucial. Striking the balance of executional excellence to drive program success while Thinking Big to develop long-term solutions with multiple product and program teams is essential. Effective documentation and review mechanisms are also important for expediting buy-in from leadership and teams. We are building a team that is passionate about retail and eCommerce, embraces ambiguity with a fast-moving and trial-and-error mindset, and can understand sales operations in various countries while also engaging with leadership to prioritize resources and decisions.

Key job responsibilitiesThe primary focus of this position is Europe, with key responsibilities including managing and growing a profile of key accounts across 9+ EU marketplaces, driving improvements across a range of selling and expansion-related fields including logistics, advertising, promotions, tax, compliance, fulfillment, and more. You will build a deep knowledge and complete purview of the leading edge of global eCommerce, and manage daily responsibilities including:Qualifying and managing a book of business spanning multiple categories and countriesIdentifying and resolving bottlenecks or other addressable CX opportunities across a multifaceted, complex European business landscapeLiaising and maintaining regular communication with key internal and external stakeholdersMarketing strategies and support for regular and key seasonal eventsAnalyzing data and producing insightful business strategies that make a differenceBuilding multi-domain subject matter expertise through management of parallel business initiatives

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experienceExperience with MS Office Suite, CRMs (Salesforce) and other systemsExperience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalentExperience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive levelExperience managing and growing large accounts, product marketing or management consulting rolesExperience working in a cross-functional sales organization

The base pay for this position ranges from $62,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $132,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
