As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our platform. You will lead a team of frontend engineers, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable and intuitive solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a rapidly evolving startup while leveraging your expertise in React and frontend development.Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.Drive the architecture, design, and development of our frontend applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements and UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive user interfaces.Champion best practices, code quality, and standards across the frontend development team.Stay abreast of the latest trends, tools, and technologies in frontend development, incorporating them into our development processes as appropriate.Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs written in Python with Django.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap, providing insights and recommendations for improving our frontend architecture and development processes.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).7+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong proficiency in React.js and related technologies.Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring teams of frontend engineers.Deep understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, and best practices.Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and RESTful APIs.Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.Familiarity with build tools and package managers such as Webpack, npm, or Yarn.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and familiarity with related tools such as Jira and Git.Passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.Benefits:Competitive salary, bonus and equity optionsComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible work hours and remote workProfessional development opportunitiesDynamic and inclusive company cultureOpportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of a growing startup
