Summary:

The Accounting Manager will oversee and establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information. Directs and manages staff. Interfaces with outside auditors and Nice Staff.Salary:

Range is $115,000.00 to $130,000.00 annually depending on experience.Location:

Is in Carlsbad, CA Hybrid schedule (3 days in office 2 days remote).Primary Responsibilities:

Maintains Cash Reporting and Control.Supervise the monthly and year-end close process.Oversee the monthly variation analysis and reconciliation of all General Ledger Accounts and Trial Balance.Determine root cause variations to sales and marketing, operations, engineering, and administration budget.Prepares Consolidated Financial Statements for reporting to Nice.Supervises Accounting Staff.Liaison between Nice North America and Nice Corporate staff and Outside Auditors.Ensures that SOX procedures are adhered, and adequate controls are in place.Analysis of Operating results.Produce Statistical Management Information and KPI’s measuring overall financial performance.Monitor procedural compliance, support implementation of new procedures in conjunction with management and operations.Prepare Quarterly Schedules for External Audit and Nice external reporting.Prepares monthly schedules and ensures that all Journals Entries have been recorded.Ensures that outside reporting is completed for business taxes, government reporting, sales, and use, etc.Ensures compliance with GAAP.Ensures all department projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies and objectives.Implements and maintains Company and department policies as well as compliance, internal controls and accounting standards.Required to have a strong comfort-level communicating throughout all levels of the organization.Understand, support, and execute all work according to the established procedures of the organization.Implements and maintains department policies and standards.Project based assignments as requested by the Controller or the CFO.Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s or 3 years with a Master’s degree plus 5 years of lead/supervisory experience; CPA a plus.Demonstrate knowledge of GAAP and IFRS a plus.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must possess excellent computer skills; Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PPT, Access/SQL etc), NetSuite experience preferred.Strong written communication and verbal skills.Proven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, establish department/discipline goals and objectives.Strong attention to detail.Positive attitude, self-motivated and eager to succeed.Supervisory Responsibilities:

Lead, develop and mentor a team.Interviewing, selecting, and training employees.Performance evaluations.Budgetary Responsibilities:

Analyzing financial information (e.g., revenues, expenditures, and cash management) to ensure all operations are within budget.Presenting annual budgets to leadership team.Make budgetary suggestions and execute cost-saving initiatives.Meet budget submission deadlines.Physical Requirements:
