ScopeExperienced Financial Analyst positions are available in the Financial and Valuation Advisory (FVA) business’s Dispute Resolution and Financial Expert Opinions practice. You will play a key role on our engagement teams, which typically comprise at least one Managing Director/Director, Vice President, Associate, and one or more Financial Analysts. As a Financial Analyst in our Dispute Resolution and Financial Expert Opinions practice, your primary activities will include constructing and reviewing valuation, lost profits/business damages, and other financial models; performing financial statement analysis; conducting forensic accounting analysis; performing economic, industry, and other types of research; participating in client and team meetings; designing and drafting deliverables and work product; and presenting analyses and conclusions internally to review committees.
Qualified candidates will have additional accountability for the development of the project approach, oversight, methodologies, and analytical frameworks, and have incremental client visibility and responsibilities, including marketing initiatives and business development.
Basic Qualifications
B.A./B.S./B.B.A./Masters in finance, accounting, business, or applied economics
Course work in accounting and finance
Strong qualitative and quantitative research and analytical abilities
Must have a fundamental understanding of financial valuation and lost profits theory, methodologies, and applications
Must have strong knowledge of Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred
Must have demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with team members
Exceptional work ethic is crucial
Candidates who have worked in a Big Four environment in valuation/dispute practices or national litigation consulting firms are preferred. Prior investment banking, finance and accounting, or similar relevant experience also beneficial.
Salary RangeHoulihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:
$70,000.00-$125,000.00
