As part of our Workday Federal Practice, you’ll be working with an energized team of advisory professionals who deliver more than just technology. From initial assessments to entire transformations, you’ll deliver Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions equipping organizations with best-in-class enterprise solutions to support our client’s mission and enable transformative growth.The Workday Lead Consultant will be tasked with ensuring the successful implementation of the Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking solutions. The Workday Lead Consultant will provide Workday product and implementation expertise to their engagements. They will work with our clients to understand business requirements and help configure, test, and deploy the Workday solution.Description

As a Workday Lead Consultant your project assignments and development activities may include:Participating and leading in all stages of the GH+ Workday methodology for implementing Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking solutions, performing the following on client engagements:Facilitate Discovery and Design sessions to gather and document client business requirementsConfigure the Workday solution to meet requirementsDocument solutions for the client to reference in the futureSupport the client and data conversion teams in converting legacy data into WorkdaySupport the integration teams in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and third party/custom solutionsAssist the client in testing the Workday solutionTransfer Workday system knowledge to the client to enable self-sufficiency and sustainability once in productionCommunicate regularly and effectively with the project engagement manager regarding forecasting hours, time reporting, projects risks, and mitigationsWork with Workday Delivery Assurance to ensure compliance with agreed to checkpointsAdvising clients on industry standards and leading practicesRecognizing business process inefficiencies and providing recommendations for improvementsWhile delivering on client projects, the Workday Lead Consultant will take an active role in growing the capabilities of the Guidehouse Workday practice by leading the following:Growing your knowledge and skills as a subject matter expert in the Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking pillar of the Workday solutionParticipating in an innovative, teaming culture for the HCM team to enable constant innovationProviding guidance, instruction, and coaching to your peers who are new to Workday consultingParticipating in proposal responses and business development activities to grow the Guidehouse Workday PracticeWhat You Will Need

5-7 years of consulting or industry experience delivering ERP solutionsExperience implementing Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking solutionsPrevious experience with the operations and culture of government organizationsExperience implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, or similar applicationsExperience with the execution of projects within a structured methodologyAbility to translate business requirements into system requirementsStrong written and oral communication skills (RFP responses, white papers, etc.) and presentation skills such as Workday demonstrations and client presentations25-50% travel balanced with work from home and/or Guidehouse office, consultants may provide on-site support for key milestones as neededSolid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, focused on Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointBachelor’s DegreeUS Citizenship, no dual citizenshipWhat Would Be Nice To Have

Current holder of the following Workday Certifications: Payroll, Absence, Time TrackingPrevious consulting experience with a consulting/software companyExperience working in Federal Government Human Capital Management (HCM) environments with an understanding of the issues facing agencies todayExperience in an ERP Software Sales cycle (RFx responses, orals presentations, etc.)What We Offer
