Our investments in product and manufacturing innovation has created an expanded capability to address new and larger opportunities, while increasing our cost efficiencies.We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Sales Manager to join our team!RequirementsSet by division goals, the Sales Manager implements short and long range plans including objectives and strategies for the organization to maximize market potential and sales volume at both existing and new accounts.Identify potential new customers within the defined OEM market segment and region, qualify and develop them as necessary to achieve new business sales in line with company strategy.Pro-actively engage with existing customers within the defined OEM market segments and region in all activities both current and potential, with a view to maximize Sales and organic Sales growth.Be the “Face of the company”; lead new development projects by pro-active contact with the prospect or customer, and VPG R&D, Engineering, QA and other associated parties to ensure timely and successful completion of the project. Manage development projects from conception to completion.Negotiate contracts, meet with purchasing, procurement and other key decision makers in order to establish firm and profitable customer relationships.Analyze and report key sales and project management data and forecast future expectations for the region.Education/ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business/ Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics).10+ years of experience in sales and business development of Industrial Automation products/Sensors (weighing, force) to OEMs (Packaging, Robotics, Medical, Machine Builders, Construction, Agriculture etc.).Significant experience in sales of technical products.Strong business/finance background and experience.Knowledge of commercial transactional process involved with sales.Previous experience negotiating multi-year contracts with large, global OEMs.Excellent communication and presentation skills.BenefitsCompany sponsored benefits that include medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D insurance, disability and flexible spending account (FSA).Voluntary Critical Illness & Accidental Injury Insurance.Company 401(k) Plan with 4% employer match (Employee/Employer Contributions 100% vested upon hire).Salary base $90,000 - $120,000 plus bonus eligible.Paid vacation and holidays.The estimated salary range allows for candidates with various levels of skills and experience to be considered, as well as provides room for growth achieved within the role over time. Any offer extended to a candidate or salary increase consideration for a current employee will be based on the individual’s unique set of knowledge, skills, education, experience and geographic location, as well as internal equity.
