T-Rex is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the activities related to the current and future state baselining of DHMS programs in terms of scope, activities, relevant processes, and stakeholders. The candidate will work closely with senior T-Rex BAs, System Engineers, and Project Managers.
The Defense Healthcare Management System is transforming the delivery of healthcare and advance data sharing through a modernized electronic health record for service members, veterans, and their families. The Workforce 3.0 program within DHMS is a managed solution that leverages innovative new processes, methods, and best-in-class methodologies from the private sector to enable the entire PEO DHMS workforce to deliver world-class technology. The DHMS systems provide important health IT capabilities to 9.6 million active duty military, their families, and their beneficiaries. This program supports management of technical deployments, field deployments, and technology training/adoption.
Responsibilities:Assist the product owner with backlog managementEnsure story completeness and offers recommendations on story format and contentAssist product owner with meeting coordination and day-to-day team operationEnsure requirements traceabilityConduct DHMS stakeholder interviews to understand current state processes, ways of working, and overall operational executionFacilitate product discovery sessions with the product managers/product owners and business end users to gather business requirementsAnalyze and document business requirements in the form of experiences, epics, stories, and acceptance criteria for both business and technical audiencesCollaborate with Product Leads and Business Analysts to understand and define product dependencies, interfaces, and risksDefine & document acceptance criteria for user stories in a given-when-then formatProduce meeting minutes and summarize key decision points at the conclusion of discussionsCollaborate with Product Management and Agile development teams to communicate detailed product requirementsCreate business process workflows and any other artifacts required as neededParticipate in relevant workshops and discussions with DHMS stakeholdersRequirements:5+ years of professional experienceExperience conducting stakeholder interviews, participating and leading workshops, and supporting and executing customer data callsExperience developing process documentation and process improvement documentationAbility to work independently as well as part of a larger teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsDesired Skills:Bachelor's Degree preferred in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or another similar disciplineExperience with Agile methodologiesExperience with JIRAExperience with data analysis or data engineeringT-Rex Overview:Established in 1999, T-Rex Solutions, LLC is a proven mid-tier business providing data-centric mission services to the Federal government as it increasingly tries to secure and leverage the power of data.
