The Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management (ESPM) in the Rausser College of Natural Resources (RCNR) at the University of California, Berkeley (UCB) invites applications for a one-year pool of qualified temporary lecturers to teach courses with a focus area of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management.The Department is committed to creating an inclusive environment, supportive of all individuals, regardless of background.General Duties:We are seeking lecturers who can teach/co-teach lecture, seminar, and/or laboratory courses in environmental science, policy, and management, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. General duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials, and maintaining a course website.For those who are not US citizens or permanent residents, a legal permit that allows work in the United States is required by the start date of the position.Qualifications

Basic qualifications

(required at time of application)An Advanced degree, or enrolled in an advanced degree program at the time of application.Additional qualifications

(required at time of start)An Advanced degree is required by the start date of the position.Preferred qualificationsThe completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent international degree.Documented experience in teaching one of the biological sciences at the college level is strongly preferred.Application Requirements
