The primary responsibility of the Director - Sales, Corporate Accounts is to develop, manage and grow assigned ATD corporate accounts. This includes attaining strategic growth objectives and goals established for the corporate accounts segment of the ATD business plan. Account types within this channel include large retailers, national auto service shops, rental car agencies and reconditioners.Job Description / Primary Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers at each assigned accountIdentify and develop strategies for sales growth including products, programs, value-added services and digital toolsMonitor and manage customer service levelsNegotiate and execute contractsSimplify day-to-day business interactions by automating business processesBuild loyalty through partnerships and programsDevelop annual business plan, monitor sales and profitability to previous year/goalCoordinate projects and initiatives with internal and external teamsPrepare and execute high level internal and external presentationsConduct scheduled business reviews and regular sales callsMonitor monthly price file executionGather business intelligence to share with field partners and field support centerHunt and prospect new corporate account customersKey Partners (positions)

Education: Minimum High School Graduate or GED. Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university preferredExperience: 7-10 years of sales experience with national accounts (tire industry preferred but not required)Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the company, in its discretion, may find appropriate and acceptable.Key Competencies
Excellent face to face and telephone communication skillsExcellent time and project management skills, ability to multi-taskPossess excellent time management and organizational skillsFunctional knowledge of the use of personal computer and/or laptopIntermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Business Intelligence (BI). Knowledge and experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.Self-motivated, confident, energetic and creativeDemonstrate respect: handle all business matters ethically and in full compliance with American Tires Distributors “Code of Conduct.”Knowledge of retail store operations including shop and retail counter management and P&LSuperior PSS and consultative sales skillsProactive management of responsibilitiesStrategic thinking, strong problem solving and analytical skillsCollaborative approach with departmental and sales personnelEffective communication and presentation skillsPhysical Demands/Work Environment/Travel Requirements
