Our mission is to move humanity off of fossil fuel heating. 20% of US global warming emissions come from homes (that's more than cars!). The largest driver of home emissions is burning fossil fuels for heat. To stop climate change, over 80M US homes need to transition from combustion to efficient, electric heat pumps over the coming decades.We believe for this to happen the world needs fantastic products that are easy and desirable to purchase. Today's heat pumps lack great design, make limited use of software, and are difficult and stressful to adopt. We are building a next generation, beautifully designed, AI optimized home heating and cooling system that is 10x better than what is on the market today.Our founders recently left Google, where they had successful careers across engineering, design, and product management. As heat pumps benefit from unprecedented consumer interest and financial incentives, we are also backed by some of the best climate tech and AI investors in the world.Role
Quilt is looking for a thoughtful, mission-driven recruiter to join as our team's first talent acquisition hire.We are building a team of driven, kind, and exceptionally talented people unified around the vision of creating incredible products for the home to accelerate the energy transition. Our first product is a beautiful all-electric heating and cooling system. Our team has a very diverse skill set ranging from hardware and software engineering, to design, to product management, consumer marketing, and customer experience. We are now looking to bring on a full-time recruiter to help us scale while maintaining our high performing culture.What you will do
Design and implement Quilt's overall recruiting strategy.Represent Quilt with candidates and ensure a fantastic end-to-end candidate experience.Track, prioritize, and drive to hire current and future company roles, working closely with hiring managers.Recruit, source, and screen candidates for all roles across the company.Manage job postings and recruiting/hiring/HR tooling.Screen incoming candidates for the breadth of roles across the whole organization and conduct initial interviews.Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition specialists at our investors for executive searches.Who are you?
You have 4+ years of success in a Technical Recruitment role and/or combination of Recruitment and HR experience (and bonus if you have experience working with Greenhouse!).You have successfully placed engineers and other technical candidates at a variety of seniority levels.You care about your colleagues, and it comes through in your interactions with others and you can positively collaborate with all types of people.You are also an administrative whiz and you're able to learn new systems and tools with ease.You are dependable, super organized, and love seeing people find the job fit of their dreams.You are flexible and are willing to support a wide variety of work tasks at once.You want to help make Quilt an awesome place to work.You are committed to promoting and enhancing equity, diversity, and inclusion at Quilt, especially through our internal practices.This is a full-time, onsite position in our Redwood City office.Anticipated cash salary range starts at $125,000.
