In this role, you would have the opportunity to help a fast-growing organization develop their internal audit function to ensure we remain compliant as we continue to grow.What you’ll doDirectly supervise and oversee the day-to-day operations of the business process audit team.Independently lead SOX 404 business process controls program implementation, management testing of controls and coordination with external auditors.Develop and perform audits as part of the Symbotic risk-based audit plan including planning, scoping, supervising fieldwork, reporting.Effectively communicate audit findings both verbally and in written audit reports, providing direction on remediation efforts and tracking the implementation and effectiveness of action plans through completion.Facilitate annual enterprise risk assessment based on the COSO framework.Lead stakeholder awareness and training on controls and risk management.Promote the brand of Internal Audit through quality audit work and relationship building with Finance and other departments across Symbotic.What you’ll needMinimum 10 years’ experience in internal audit, with at least 5 years in a Big 4 firm or publicly traded company; prior experience as a people manager preferred.Prior people manager experience required.Bachelor’s degree and CPA or CIA required, master’s degree a preferred.Strong knowledge of SOX and operational business process controls and experience in assessing the implementation of COSO enterprise risk framework.Prior experience in the following preferred:Working with analytical software (such as Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) or robotic process automation (UiPath or Automation Anywhere).ERP application controls (SAP a plus).Effective project management skills and ability to concurrently conduct multiple tasks.Experience in collaborating with management and external auditors and being able to influence and drive change.About SymboticSymbotic is an automation technology leader reimagining the supply chain with its end-to-end, AI-powered robotic and software platform.
