Job Responsibilities:
Provide counsel and advice to top management on significant Engineering matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.
Develop client-facing web applications using the technologies listed above.
Create RESTful services using Java, Spring Boot, and frontend technologies like React JS, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
Work closely with developers, technical project managers, principal engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure that application solutions meet business/customer requirements.
Create scalable and secure web applications using React, Spring Boot, and Java in a large-scale, highly complex, cross-functional/platform environment.
Provide direction for others, share knowledge, and mentor team members.
Engage in pair programming and may serve as technical lead in the area of expertise.
Instruct, direct, and check the work of others as needed.
Communicate effectively with the technical team and update client leadership.
Skills and Experience Required:
Pre-Requisites: Java, Spring Boot, Maven, Git, SQL.
Basic knowledge of Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, etc.
Working knowledge of Monitoring/APM tools like New Relic (NR) or Dynatrace (DT).
Knowledge of performance metrics APM Tools (NR/DT) and alerting in those tools.
Basic knowledge of Chaos Engineering and familiarity with FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis).
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or comparable tools.
Good knowledge of Splunk.
Experience with Spring Boot Instrumentation like Micrometer.
Willingness to learn any peripheral skills that may be missing within 8 weeks of joining.
