My name is Caroline and I’m a healthcare recruiter – I’m here to help!A state-of-the-art, non-profit, short term acute care facility located 1 hour east of Columbus is looking for a permanent Nuclear Medicine Technologist (multiple shifts available).DESCRIPTION
Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals.Evaluates exams for diagnostic quality.RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates nuclear medicine and related medical equipment to complete a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.Produces acceptable images by determining proper technical factors based on individual patients and/or procedures.Orders, prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals according to accepted practices.Effectively uses computer systems (such as HIS, RIS, PACS) to process, access and distribute appropriate department and patient procedure information.Performs other functions as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent) in nuclear medicine.Licensed by the State of Ohio in Nuclear Medicine.Competence in diagnostic & therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures performed at this facility.Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of computer software related to electronic imaging and clinical information management.CPR Certified.BENEFITS
