team! We are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer who is motivated and ready to implement Vanguard’s Multi-Cloud infrastructure strategy while helping peers grow their technical expertise. In this role, you will be a member of a cross functional team working with teams across the organization to adopt innovative cloud native technologies and processes to engineer, highly scalable, resilient & secure cloud solutions.In this role you will:
Plan, design, build, test, and deploy enterprise infrastructure and services as code using CI/CD workflows.Develop the technical expertise of teams across our cloud offerings and processes.Drive a continuous learning mindset in various teams.What it takes:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or 4+ years of professional experience2+ years of hands-on development experience in an object-oriented programming language or similar.Experience automating and operating cloud native technologies, applications deployment, and provisioning infrastructure on AzureHands on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform, ARM templates, Deployment Manager configurations, CloudFormation or similar.Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet or Salt in productionExperience with cloud native CI/CD workflows and tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Code Deploy or similar.Hands on experiences with distributed application architecture such as containers, Kubernetes, or Serverless technologiesExperience with Agile practicesPreferred Qualifications
Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing & firewallExperience with monitoring and log aggregating tools such as Splunk, DataDogExperience with cloud native security implementations DevSecOps or MLOpsCloud certifications for Azure a plusStrong verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to advocate for DevOps practices across teamsSpecial Factors:
