to help secure new business relationships and drive new logo acquisition. Business Development Representatives actively prospect target accounts and position Lux Research as a thought leader and trusted advisor to innovation & sustainability leaders at Fortune 500 companies.If you are ready to make an impact in a growing company and develop a true enterprise sales acumen, then this opportunity is a fit for you.ResponsibilitiesDevelop strategy to target accounts based on industry, product fit, and executive prioritiesBuild relationships with prospects through demonstration of in-depth client knowledge, understanding of specific client needs/ priorities and application of surface-level research solutionsProspect, source, cold call for new business opportunitiesEducate prospects on the benefits of Lux Research products and services through compelling articulation of our business model and value propositionCreate customized territory targeting activities to build pipeline of sufficient size and quality to achieve new logo acquisition targetsIdentify relevant stakeholders within prospect organizations to ensure targeted outreach.RequirementsMinimum Qualifications1+ years demonstrated sales success; selling professional services is critical, experience selling research & consulting services is a major plusDemonstrated experience with intangible sales (B2B)Willingness to prospect via phone in addition to other avenuesExperience cold calling to build new business pipelinesDesired QualificationsExperience communicating with C-level executivesExperience meeting personal and team monthly, quarterly, and annual goalsExperience diagnosing prospect needs and identifying relevant resourcesExcellent verbal and written communicationEffective organization and time management skillsSuccessfully having worked at a start-up or a Fortune 500 company is a major plusEagerness to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, entrepreneurial environmentExperience building credibility quickly to get past gate-keepersA good sense of humorLux Research is an Equal Opportunity EmployerLux Research is an equal opportunity employer.
