FINANCE MANAGER - Write Up
Able to manage team members/work flow to align with monthly deliverables and deadlines
Assist with reviewing various areas of month end process including JEs in Quickbooks/reviewing excel support files/reviewing analytics (ability to use sumifs/index match/vlookup/pivot tables desired)
Assist in review of Fund and Capital expenses on a monthly basis
Will work directly with our external admin to review deliverables they provide as part of month end process
Work directly with admin on more challenging concepts and product types to ensure they are accounted for correctly on a monthly basis
Utilize our internal software system to try to enhance current routine process and procedures
Assist with review of quarterly regulatory filings and year end audit requests and financial statement drafts
Strong communication skills required - will work directly with internal groups as needed (Operations/risk/legal etc) as well as external admin and auditors
Willingness to automate/enhance existing processes or create new processes as new things arise
Be open minded and willing to dive in even without written procedures to follow
Time management - able to pivot quickly to required priorities as needed in addition to managing monthly routine processes
Team player – willingness to raise hand when standard tasks are completed and take on ad-hoc requests/projects
Able to work independently and grasp concepts via live training and ask questions/challenge current processes and workpapers
Experience
Minimum 5+ years experience in Big 4 Public Accounting or Large National
CPA preferred
Degree in Accounting or Finance
Compensation
Salary: $140,000 - $175,000 + Bonus (Aggressive)
Benefits: 100% Healthcare covered
401k: 100% up to 6%
