Description
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you’ll be embedded on a development team of between 5-10 people where you will have the opportunity to design and develop Software applications within the Timekeeping organization for Workforce Dimensions/UKG Pro. You will get to work directly with Quality Engineers, Business Analysts, and our Product Users in a highly collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to grow as an engineering leader and help instill in others a passion for quality enterprise development.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Lead technical efforts by coordinating the technical team members to align and ensure the integrity and quality of the final solutionLead development of enterprise-scale Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) software utilizing SaaS design principlesDevelop cutting-edge solutions to maximize performance, scalability, and distributed processing capabilitiesWork independently and collaboratively to coordinate and implement solutions to complex technical issuesCollaborate with stakeholders outside of the team to align and achieve expected outcomesIdentify and refactor areas of functional and architectural improvementParticipate in the Implementation of departmental improvements in process/technical solutions with positive measurable resultsProvide leadership with new development efforts and updatesContribute to the design and estimation of new featuresQualifications
Basic Qualifications:6+ years’ of experience in Software Engineering, using Java and with frontend technologies as Angular or ReactExperience engaging with software/test engineers on Java enterprise-level software developmentExperience with OOP, Data Structures and Algorithms with object-oriented design and developmentExperience with event-driven MicroservicesKnowledge or experience with SaaS design principles and solutionsExperience with the development of API’s and Web ServicesExperience with SQL and NoSQL and an understanding the key differences between them and when does their use apply.Agile or Lean Software Development experience (Kanban or Scrum, etc.)Knowledge or experience with Spring, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Splunk, and/or DynatraceBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fieldPreferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equal experienceProven experience successfully working within a team and managing a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.Positive team player attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Self-motivated and willing to “do what it takes” to get the job done.High degree of organizational and problem-solving skills.Equal Opportunity Employer
