Responsibilities

Architect Cloud-based systems working as a C++ programmer, writing scalable, reusable, and maintainable codeOptimize existing and new C++ code to reduce memory consumption and to increase performance and scalabilityBuild compelling SDKs and APIs supporting modern interactive and batch geocoding workflowsWork closely with other programmers and product engineers on interoperability issuesRequirements

5+ years of related software development experienceStrong development skills in C++ (C++11 and higher, STL, Boost, Clang, MSVC), and/or Rust Programming LanguageStrong experience with REST service designExperience with container orchestration technology, such as KubernetesIn-depth knowledge in AWS and/or Azure Cloud Service platformsUnderstanding of algorithms and design patternsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEffective time management and organizational skillsBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related fieldRecommended Qualifications

Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related fieldTotal Rewards

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is

$114,400-$187,200 USD
