This is a full-time permanent position.The Revenue Operations Analyst supports and executes many aspects of the banking operations and cash/revenue management for all three Advancement-related entities: UW Advancement, UW Alumni Association and UW Foundation. This role serves as a critical member of the Advancement Finance team, supporting over 650 employees across all campuses.Working under the supervision of the Sr. Director, Finance and Administration, and with guidance from the Associate Director of Finance, the Revenue Operations Analyst will perform the following specific duties:What You Will Do:

Develops, plans and implements systems for effective cash management. Aligns these practices with UA, UW, and audit policies and procedures.Calculates and records monthly revenue recognition including proper deferred revenue and receivables balances.Prepares/reviews account analysis and reconciliations timely and accurately with proper approvals and performs monthly and annual close.Creates proposals for revenue distribution models to ensure the sustainability of for Advancement’s self-sustaining programs as revenue generating units with UA/UW.Initiates the transfer of funds from UA to across the institution, communicates with all parties on these transfers, and resolves any issues or concerns that may occur.Responsible for managing the relationships and accounts with banking establishments and merchant services and ensures that the organization is aligning with UW’s internal policies and procedures.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, or related Discipline. Minimum two years of experience performing financial and procurement activities.Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.Who You Are:

Proficient with spreadsheet and text programs (Microsoft Office, Google, other similar programs).Experience with implementation, assessment and responsibility for diverse financial portfolios with ability to manage day-to-day needs as well as interpretation of broader monetary assessments.Proven administrative, financial, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with a high degree of reliability, accuracy and productivity.Ability to interpret and communicate to others complex policies and procedures.Experience with software systems (eProcurement, Financial Desktop, Invoice Receivables, Procard, Records Management, etc.).Familiarity with federal and state expenditure guidelines; experience working with multiple funding sources; knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements; understanding of cost allocation approaches, including overhead allocations and rate development.What You Can Expect:
