Here, you will make an impact by:Leading in employing emerging technologies including deep learning to enhance the performance and capability of machine vision systems and advance manufacturing profitability.Consulting with internal business partners and assessing potential applications to identify high-value opportunities for machine vision technology integration.Providing effective robotic system solutions to a variety of new and existing automated process equipment.Selecting hardware and providing software to run new process equipment.Providing support for machine installation and commissioning.Your Skills and Expertise:To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires ( at a minimum ) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.Two (2) years of experience in one or more of the following areas: machine/computer vision, automated inspection, industrial automation, manufacturing technology, robotics, and/or controls systems in a private, public, government or military environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar major from an accredited institution.Experience with Fanuc or Keyence or Cognex machine vision platforms.Experience with automation and/or robotics.Knowledge in machine learning and data analytics.Experience with

Rockwell/Allen-Bradley

systems and hardware.Location:

The expected compensation range for this position is $93,033 - $113,708, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
