You will head up the R&D team to bring in and develop core technologies, align them with business road maps, and craft cutting edge disruptive products that aren’t just functional but works of art!Specifically this role is responsible for…Research and DevelopmentConcept through A-Sample development cyclesCritical vendor selection (technical side)Workflow planning, timing, milestones, and deliverablesDrive accountability and ownership within the teamHire, oversee, and mentor a small team of specialists covering battery cells, power electronics, electrical integration, mechanical structures, thermal systems, battery pack design, and system integration.Guide technical direction for complex engineering questions.We are bringing advancements in technology to industries that have been neglected for over 100 years.
