Business Development Representative

Sparkhound is seeking an ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. This role is designed for a highly motivated and energetic individual. The BDR will focus on inside sales - generating and qualifying leads into managed services clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a hunter mentality, and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.

What you will do:

Lead Generation:

Identify and engage potential leads through various online channels and networking.Outreach:

Initiate conversations and introduce Sparkhound services via email, phone calls, events, and social media.Prospecting:

Actively call prospects over the phone, attend events, send direct emails, perform LinkedIn outreaches, and engage in other secondary prospecting activities.Qualification:

Follow Sparkhound's qualification process to assess the needs of potential customers and determine if they are a good fit for our services.Appointment Setting:

Schedule prospect meetings directly on the Managing Director's calendar.Collaboration:

Work with the marketing team to enhance outreach strategies.Measures of Success:

Make at least 60 calls to the target market per day.Send at least 50 e-mails to the target market per day.Schedule at least 2 qualified first-time appointments per week.Record all lead generation activity in Apollo.ioRequirements

Must reside in or near any of the following locations: Baton Rouge, LA, New Orleans, LA or Dallas, TX1-3 years of experience in inside sales or a similar role within IT Managed Services.Proven ability to generate positive conversations with prospects.Proficiency in Apollo.io is preferred.Ability to form relationships across the organization.Strong, persuasive verbal and written communication skillsProven experience in a sales role, with a focus on lead generation.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome objections and close deals.Solid understanding of sales methodologies and techniques.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a customer-centric mindset
