Verity is looking for a remote Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team and oversee the sourcing of opportunities for our sales team. VerityData is rapidly expanding its footprint, and we need motivated sales professionals to assist in growing our sales pipeline accordingly. We are seeking scrappy and goal-oriented individuals who have an interest and passion for the financial markets. VerityData works with hedge funds and asset managers, providing them with clean data and research drawn SEC filings - so your background in finance/financial markets will be essential in helping prospects understand what separates us from other vendors.
Key Duties:
Book new business meetings with key stakeholders at large investment management organizationsProspecting via cold-calling, emails, and other forms of messaging or marketing initiativesQualify inbound and marketing leads and convert relevant ones to meetings and deal opportunitiesConcisely explain VerityData value proposition to sales prospects and determine whether their needs could be met with VerityData platformMeet and exceed sales quotas and objectivesTrack and monitor leads in CRMCollaborate with marketing team in developing innovative outreach campaignsAssist sales and marketing teammates with client and prospecting eventsAbout You:
Able to work remotely in Eastern or Central timezoneBachelor's degree and 0-2 years of sales experience (SaaS sales is a plus)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsKnowledgable on SEC Filings (10-K, 10-Q, earnings transcripts, etc.)Proficiency with Salesforce a plusHighly competitive and coachableStrong work ethic, detail oriented with a high level of integrity and emotional intelligenceAnalytical rigorEntrepreneurial mindsetGenuine, open, and humbleUnafraid of moving targetsWhat We Offer:
