Our client is looking for a Sales Manager to join their team! Our client is celebrating over 75 years of manufacturing success within the metal fabrication and tube bending space and show no signs of slowing down.

The sales manager will be responsible for implementing new business strategies and business development for the metal fabrication value propositions, while maintaining strong relationships with internal team members and customers.

Qualified candidates must have sales management experience within a metal fabrication industry and have experience having direct reports.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

- Maintain a strong focus on Business development, acquiring new business.- Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.- Ability to communicate with team members effectively.- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.- Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.- Maintains sales volume and product mix by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.- Completes national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.- Maintains national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.- Works effectively with cross functional groups (Operations, Pricing, Purchasing, and Marketing).- High involvement with Strategic Planning.- Capability to solve problems and locate information efficiently.- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and services.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor"s degree- Management Experience with experience in metal fabrication- Negotiation- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and internet applications.- Selling to Customer needs (selling specific parts)- Ability to de-escalate issues by remaining professional, and team-focused, while utilizing problem-solving technique.- Developing Budgets- Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.- Ability to compose and present business plans to Executive Staff.
