The Arcserve Partner Account Manager is responsible for the alignment, enablement, development, and performance of the partners in their territory and reports to the Sr. Director, North America Partner Sales. In this role, the Partner Account Manager will focus on current and prospective Channel Partners in the assigned region and develop strategies to increase Arcserve’s sales through those defined partners. These partners are strategic or tactically important accounts to the sales organization that enable sales to end-users. The Partner Account Manager will be asked to develop, enable, and engage a specific set of partners and/or solution providers. The role requires effective communication and collaboration skills combined with a sense of urgency to drive revenue generation for the assigned region.This role can be located remotely in California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.Essential Job Responsibilities:

Develop, enable and engage assigned Partners and/or Solution Providers.Collaboration with Arcserve and Partner Sales team in the development and execution of territory plan(s) for growth, enablement and alignment, and engagement plan with partner ecosystem.Build and develop relationships with partner accounts to create increased sales opportunities.Ensure partner revenue targets/objectives are achieved monthly, quarterly, and annually for assigned region.Develop and maintain a sales road map and business plan for assigned accounts. Use the business plan as a strategy for a go-to-market and program development, including sales goals.Create engagement strategies tailored around Marketing Programs, Trainings, and Pipeline Reviews.Gain and maintain access to decision makers and end users in assigned partner accounts.Expand sales pipeline/funnel by cross selling and up-selling additional solutions.Key Performance Indicators include: Phone activity, Opportunity Creation, and Revenue growth within the assigned region.Develop a solid understanding of Arcserve products and stay up to the minute on both competitive market trends and internal product development.Research emerging technologies, trends, and competitive information.Aggressively promote Arcserve and our solutions in the marketplace.Ability to travel in assigned region as required.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience to meet the essential functions of the position.Three (3) plus years of channel sales experience or related customer-facing experience.Drives partner business, marketing strategy, and execution.Designs and executes a comprehensive regional partner business plan.Ability to identify and prioritize opportunities and accurately forecast commits.Ability to quickly establish productive working relationships and promote effective teamwork both internally and externally.Managing relationships in a highly leveraged, matrixed environment with indirect reports.Data storage or security industry experience preferred.Preferred Job Qualifications:

Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities.Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.Analytical thinker with proven ability to metric and govern.Relationships with DMR partners (CDW, Insight, SHI, Zones) a plus.National partner experience a plus (TIG, Trace3, ePlus, etc.).Understanding of 2-tier distribution with relationships at Ingram, Tech Data Synnex, and Climb Channel Solutions.Travel: Up to 50%Arcserve is an equal opportunity employer.
