Inside Sales

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for coordinating sales activities to satisfy customer requests for company contract services within an assigned customer base or region. Works as a liaison between the customer, branch sales, and branch operations group to assure complete customer satisfaction. The position will report to the Branch Manager and have no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Job FunctionsMaintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns.Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM’s Core Values of:Safety First / Quality Always – In everything we do.Integrity – Uncompromising standards of integrity and ethical conduct.Service Leadership – Leading Service Quality, professionalism, and responsiveness.Innovation – Supports continuous growth and improvement.Pride and Respect – For our customers, for each other, and for all our stakeholders.Teamwork – Global teamwork and collaboration.Manages internal sales inquiries and accounts as assigned.Assists the sales team and production department in the preparation and recordkeeping of quotations; submits all quotes to Account Managers and Sales Coordinator/Branch Manager for approval before submission to the customer.Schedules and notifies the sales team and production department of job timing and requirements, and aids in tracking job costs, as needed.Coordinates sales effort and operational planning by keeping operations informed of potential projects.Communicates with Corporate Support groups, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Service Line Managers, etc., to effectively service the customer.Works with Sales Coordinator to achieve continuous process improvements for the operations and sales groups.Assists Administrative Personnel with Accounts Receivable issues, as needed.Forwards information to corporate for execution. This includes contracts requiring signatures, insurance requests, and Terms and Conditions for approval. Ensures the information is returned to the customer in a timely manner.Works with Sales and Operations to resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.Has a good working knowledge of all company products and services that are available to our customers.Works with Account Managers and Sales Coordinator to monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and marketing techniques.

Job QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Industrial experience in valve repair, valve products, Farris PSV preferred.Prior customer service experience preferred.Proficiency in MS Office preferred.

Work ConditionsPosition is located at the branch office.Work is conducted in a semi-private office/cubicle setting.Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours of 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
